The stable's good recent run of success continued this week, with an admirably tough performance by Oak Crest Farm's Payrula, who knuckled out a head victory at Turfway Park Wednesday. Pin Oak Stud's Juris Doctor made it third time lucky with a commanding performance at Laurel Park over the weekend. This three-year-old son of Constitution (a $450,000 yearling) had shown a ton of potential in two prior races in recent months, both times not beaten far at all into second.
