We're gearing up for a massive weekend of action for the stable, so without further ado, let's dig in! Tomorrow at Fair Grounds, the talented Epic Style is stepping up to stakes company for the first time when drawn 2 of 11 in the $100,000 Marie G. Krantz Memorial Stakes, over 1 and 1/16th miles on the turf. This daughter of Good Magic has been brought along beautifully by connections, and she's entering this competitive contest off the back of a nice win over a mile at the s

Mighty Montador!
Godolphin's mighty Montador (pictured above) saw the year out in splendid fashion for the stable with a fantastic victory in the $100,000 Woodchopper Stakes at Fair grounds over the weekend. Given a lovely positive ride by Brian Hernandez, Montador sat on the heels of the leaders until the far turn, where he began to make his move. At the top of the stretch, they kicked for home, ultimately coming clear of the rest by an easy looking 4 and 1/4 lengths in this turf race over 1

Weekend Update!
From everyone here at Stidham Racing, we hope you're enjoying a wonderful festive period. What would make it even better? A few Stidham-trained winners, that's what! The headline acts over the next couple of days are spearheaded by Juris Doctor and Montador (pictured above), drawn 3 and 6 respectively in tomorrow's Woodchopper Stakes, a $100,000 turf race over 1 and 1/16th miles at Fair Grounds. The lightly raced Juris Doctor will be ridden by Axel Conception. A 3-1 shot on t

Neighborly Luv!
As we count down to the holidays, the Stidham stable is gearing up for a potential early Christmas present should Luv Your Neighbor (pictured above) deliver the goods in the $100,000 Untapable Stakes at Fair Grounds on Saturday. Luv Your Neighbor has drawn the one hole among a field of 8 in Saturday's race, over an extended mile. Axel Concepcion takes the mount on the Morning Line 6-1 shot. A two-year-old daughter of Constitution, Luv Your neighbor has raced three times thi

Love Song Strikes Right Tune!
Godolphin's Love Song (pictured above) struck a fine tune indeed Wednesday at Turfway Park, running away with a competitive looking optional allowance claiming to get her second career victory. Jockey Joseph Ramos had the well-bred daughter of Ghostzapper handily placed throughout, delivering her with a decisive kick at the quarter-pole to win by 4 1/2 lengths at the wire. Love Song is a daughter of the supremely talented Music Note, who won five Grade Ones throughout a stell

Payrula Pays Dividends!
The stable's good recent run of success continued this week, with an admirably tough performance by Oak Crest Farm's Payrula, who knuckled out a head victory at Turfway Park Wednesday. Ridden by Danny Sheehy, Payrula sat nearer last than first to begin with but responded to her jockey's urgings to close strongly, just getting up at the wire. This was Payrula's second career victory, and this talented homebred daughter of Paynter (out of a stakes-winning mare) looks like she h

Big Few Days!
It's been a big few days for the stable, topped off by Tom's Magic's (pictured above) fantastic second place finish in the G1 Hollywood Derby at Del Mar yesterday. Given a positive, pace-stalking ride by Antonio Fresu, Tom's Magic was delivered with a furlong to run, charging like a would-be winner but denied first place by a neck by Chad Brown's fast-improving young colt, Salamis. Owned in a partnership between CJ Thoroughbrds and Mo Speed Racing, Tom's Magic has been a real

Weekend Update!
After a brief lull it's business as usual for the Stidham barn, with Montador (pictured above) going for gold in the G3 Commonwealth Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs tomorrow. Before we take a look at his chances, let's take a look back at last weekend and a really nice performance from the upwardly mobile Energize. Given a lovely positive ride by Luis Saez, Energize struck for home mid-stretch before knuckling out a 3/4 length win at the wire. Godolphin's 3-year-old son of Med

Mighty Montador!
It's an unusually quiet weekend for the stable, with no runners lined up over the next few days. But that's not to say there's no good news to share! Last weekend, Godolphin's Montador showed himself a colt fast on the upgrade with his second career victory at Churchill Downs. Ridden fairly prominently by jockey Tyler Gaffalione, Montador was delivered with a wet sail at the top of the stretch before drawing away to win by two lengths at the wire. An exciting son of top sire

Central Casting!
Godolphin's talented filly Central Avenue (pictured above) is the headline act for the stable this Halloween weekend when lining up in the Turnback the Alarm Stakes at Belmont At The Big A this Sunday. Drawn 5 of 5 in the $150,000 race over 1 and 1/8th miles on the dirt, Central Avenue (7-2 on the Morning Line) has Javier Castellano on board. This four-year-old daughter of Street Sense has some really good form to her name, including a second place finish in the 2023 G1 Frize

Weekend Update!
We've no big race runners this weekend, but plenty of interesting types nonetheless taking their chances over the next few days. Before we have a look at the weekend entries, here's a picture (above) of Pin Oak Stud's recent maiden winner, Juris Doctor. Now for the weekend entries (per Equibase): Saturday Keeneland Conch Fried Rice - Race 7, Allowance Optional Claiming $125,000 Practical Joker - Race 10, Maiden Special Weight Sunday Belmont At The Big A Epic Style - Race 8,

Doctor's In!
Pin Oak Stud's Juris Doctor made it third time lucky with a commanding performance at Laurel Park over the weekend. This three-year-old son of Constitution (a $450,000 yearling) had shown a ton of potential in two prior races in recent months, both times not beaten far at all into second. This time round, jockey Jevian Toledo made sure there were no excuses, tucking Juris Doctor onto the heels of the leaders before kicking clear down the stretch to win by 2 and 1/2 lengths. C

What an Honor!
Speedway Stables, long-time loyal supporters of the yard, enjoyed a lovely win earlier in the week, courtesy of Honor Bright (pictured above) at Presque Isle Downs. This expensive two-year-old daughter of Quality Road really stepped up from her debut at Delaware last month, when she finished a fair fourth. This time, Honor Bright tucked in right behind the leaders before jockey Scott Spieth brought her with a sustained run down the home straight, drawing away to win by two le
