It's an unusually quiet weekend for the stable, with no runners lined up over the next few days. But that's not to say there's no good news to share! Last weekend, Godolphin's Montador showed himself a colt fast on the upgrade with his second career victory at Churchill Downs. Ridden fairly prominently by jockey Tyler Gaffalione, Montador was delivered with a wet sail at the top of the stretch before drawing away to win by two lengths at the wire. Godolphin's talented filly Central Avenue (pictured above) is the headline act for the stable this Halloween weekend when lining up in the Turnback the Alarm Stakes at Belmont At The Big A this Sunday. Drawn 5 of 5 in the $150,000 race over 1 and 1/8th miles on the dirt, Central Avenue (7-2 on the Morning Line) has Javier Castellano on board. Pin Oak Stud's Juris Doctor made it third time lucky with a commanding performance at Laurel Park over the weekend. This three-year-old son of Constitution (a $450,000 yearling) had shown a ton of potential in two prior races in recent months, both times not beaten far at all into second. This time round, jockey Jevian Toledo made sure there were no excuses, tucking Juris Doctor onto the heels of the leaders before kicking clear down the stretch to win by 2 and 1/2 lengths. C

Speedway Stables, long-time loyal supporters of the yard, enjoyed a lovely win earlier in the week, courtesy of Honor Bright (pictured above) at Presque Isle Downs.
