Weekend Update!

Updated: May 8

Sweet Miss Maggie gallops at Turfway Park

It has been a good week for the Stidham stable.

On Tuesday at Horseshoe Indianapolis, Godolphin's homebred, Linzer, was a swanky winner under a positive Mitchell Murrill ride. This 3-year-old son of Street Sense can move up from here.

One day later at the same track, Sweet Miss Maggie stepped up majorly from her debut run to win nicely under Joseph Bealmear. Cobra Farm and Martha Jackson's 3-year-old daughter of Omaha Beach was having her first start in just over four months, too, so, there are a lot of positives to take away from the performance.

And now to the weekend.

The stable's talented Jubilee Bridge is making her seasonal reappearance in the $100,000 Dahlia Stakes at Laurel park tomorrow, a mile turf contest. Jubilee Bridge is drawn 5 of 8 under Ben Curtis, and she's a 9-2 shot to claim her first stakes victory.

The tough old warrior, Gray's Fable, is drawn 3 of 9 in the $100,000 Henry S. Clark Stakes, a mile race on the turf a little later on the Laurel card. Ben Curtis takes the ride on the 6-1 Morning Line shot, who is having his first start for the barn.

And here's the rest of the stable's weekend entries:
