It has been another great week for the barn, thanks to a couple winners at Colonial Downs and Delaware Park.
On the Wednesday, Godolphin's 2-year-old Violence colt, Golden Cookie, looked very smart indeed when breaking his maiden at the first time of asking under Carol Cedeno at Delaware Park.
Given a positive ride, Golden Cookie really stuck to his guns in the closing stages to knuckle out a nose victory. This Godolphin homebred is one to watch - as is another Godolphin homebred, Rio Chama, who pulled off the same feat yesterday at Colonial Downs.
This 2-year-old American Pharoah colt also gave a thoroughly polished performance under Ben Curtis to win by an easier-than-it looked length.
These are two lovely colts who appear to have their whole careers ahread of them.
