The red-hot form of the stable was in evidence yesterday with a great across the card double.
Over at Colonial Downs, the admirably consistent Union Bulldog made a well-earned trip to the winner's circle after a good Ben Curtis ride. DARRS Inc's 3-year-old son of Goldencents has been knocking on the door for a while, and this will have done his confidence a world of good.
Over at Timonium, Pin Oak Stud's Phantom Speed came back from a lay-off to showcase some exciting latent talent. Julio Hernandez sat patiently for much of the race, kicking on down the stretch to win by an easier than it looked half-length.
This son of Arrogate has a bright future ahead of him, and will surely come on a bit for the run.
