The Biblical floods deluging Kentucky right now means the anticipated opening weekend has been pushed back a few days!
What this also means is that a couple exciting stable prospects are now set to reappear early next week now.
On Monday, Tom's Magic (picture earlier this week at Keeneland) goes for a three-timer in the $600,000 G3 Transylvania Stakes, a 1 and 1/16th mile turf contest.
Drawn 9 of 12, Tom's Magic will enjoy the services of Ben Curtis. He was a super winner of the Black Gold Stakes last time out, and though this is a major step up in class, Tom's Magic looks like he has all manner of improvement in him.
This lovely prospect is a 12-1 shot on the Morning Line at the moment.
One day later at Keeneland, Think Big has drawn the 11 hole in the $400,000 Valvoline Global Shakertown Stakes, a 5 and 1/2 furlong turf sprint.
This Godolphin homebred has really flourished over the past few months, exemplified by an eye-catching win at Fair Grounds last time out. Curtis is once again on this Stidham runner, who is a 15-1 shot on the Morning Line.
