Weekend Update!

The stable's good run of form continues to tick along nicely, as exemplified by Sandini's maiden victory yesterday at Oaklawn Park.

John Ropes's homebred son of Bernardini only made his racecourse bow last month - an experience that evidently did him the world of good. This time around, he was sharp out of the gates, always near the fore, before powering away to win by over four lengths.

Sandini was subsequently claimed out of the yard.
