The Stidham stable's barreling into an exciting weekend with a couple of the barn's brightest young talents looking to make their mark.
Let's start with Conch Fried Rice (pictured above), who lines up in the $100,000 Christiana Stakes, a turf contest over 1 1/8th miles at Delaware Park tomorrow.
What a year Conch Fried Rice has already had, steadily improving with every run, and winning her last two starts in really exciting fashion.
Tomorrow marks the toughest task to date for this three-year-old daughter of American Pharoah, who's drawn 5 of 10. With Carol Cedeno on top, Conch Fried Rice is a 12-1 shot on the Morning Line.
One day later marks the return to action of the tremendously likeable Tom's Magic, who's looking to build on his great second last time out in the King's Plate when lining up in the $400,000 Breeders' Stakes, also at Woodbine.
Nine go to post in tomorrow's contest, over 1 1/2 miles, with Rafael Hernandez on board. Despite his wide draw, Tom's Magic is 1/1 to bring tomorrow's valuable contest home. One thing's for sure, this gorgeous son of Justify couldn't be in any finer shape than right now.
