This weekend might be an unusually quiet one for the stable, but it's been a productive last seven days for the stable thanks to Vino Bella (pictured) breaking her maiden in emphatic fashion at Laurel Park last Saturday.
This four-year-old daughter of Vino Rosso, owned by Boyd Byers, has been knocing on the door for a while. This time, she took no chances.
Jockey Julio Hernandez soon had her on the lead. And there she remained, eventually pulling nearly five lengths clear of the field in this mile contest.
With this nice confidence boosting win under her belt, Vino Bella can build from this.
