As we move towards the end of summer, the scorching heat shows no signs of abating - and neither does the scorching hot form of the stable!
This is good news for Amalfi Drive, drawn 8 of 9 in tomorrow's $100,000 Violet Stakes at Monmouth Park tomorrow. Chantal Sutherland takes the mount.
The talented Amalfi Drive has long proven she's more than capable of winning a race of this nature.
Two races back, she finished a good second in the Obeah Stakes at Delaware Park. last time out she didn't get the best of starts before running out a creditable fourth in a stake at Colonial Downs.
Amalfi Drive's a 20-1 shot on the Morning Line for tomorrow's race, over 1 and 1/16th miles on the turf.
