Brace of Wins!

A couple of nice wins this week means the stable's barrelling into the weekend in fine form.

On Wednesday, Battle Born Racing Stable and William Branch's Drink This Cup made it two-for-three with an eye-catching win at Delaware Park.

This three-year-old daughter of Stay Thirsty was sent straight to the lead under Julio Hernandez, and there she stayed, never relinquishing the one-spot before coming home two lengths to the good.

Affordably purchased at the Ocala June breeze-ups in 2024, Drink This Cup was a scintillating winner on her debut, and she's clearly going in the right direction.

Yesterday at Delaware Park, Godolphin's Energize made it third-time lucky when running away with his maiden.

Once again sent straight to the lead by Hernandez, Energize was always there or there abouts before coming home more than four lengths clear of the pack.

This three-year-old gelding is out of a graded stakes-placed mare, and has been improving with every run. With this monkey off his back, it'll be interesting to see what he does next.
