Global racing behemoth Godolphin look to have another really nice youngster on their hands with Strike Point, who made a striking impression at Delaware Park last Friday.

Jose Batista settled back early on this two-year-old son of Not This Time, made his move around the turn, kicked clear down the stretch, then toughed it out to claim a lovely head victory at the wire.

Strike Point is out of the G2 winning, G1 placed Lady Montdore, and looks to have inherited much of his mother's talent. Can't wait to see where he heads next.

At Laurel Park on Saturday, Godolphin's Amalfi Drive is drawn 1 of 9 in the $100,000 Twixt Stakes, a mile contest for fillies and mares.

The talented Amalfi Drive has been knocking on the door for a race of this type for some time (she finished second in the Obeah Stakes at Delaware back in May). She's a 2-1 shot on the Morning Line to prevail under Jeiron Barbosaa.
