It's Pegasus World Cup weekend at Gulfstream Park, and the Stidham stable's sending out a live-wire in one of tomorrow's big races.
Catnip is drawn on the outside of 12 in the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes, over 1 1/8th miles. Superstar Frankie Dettori takes the mount.
A winner of the G3 Monmouth Stakes last year, Catnip followed that up with a superb second-place finish in the G1 United Nations Stakes, again at Monmouth Park.
This five year-old son of Kitten's Joy has been freshened up since a start in the G1 Arlington Million Stakes at Colonial Downs last August, and is a 15-1 shot to prevail tomorrow.
