The stable enjoyed a fantastic across-the-card double on Friday, courtesy of Frost Mountain at Colonial Downs and Conch Fried Rice at Delaware Park (with some Stidham-trainees at the track of a morning pictured above).

Let's start with the wonderful DARRS Inc. owned Frost Mountain, who followed up his win at Colonial Downs last month with another one Friday, leading all the way before prevailing by a neck, showing in the process tremendous resolution.

This five-year-old son of Frosted is exceptionally well-bred, and has struck a rich vein of form this summer. It'll be interesting to see where that takes him next!

Over at Delaware Park, Dixiana Farms' Conch Fried Rice performed an identical feat, following up her win at the track last month with another one on Friday.

Given a lovely patient ride by Carol Cedeno, Conch Fried Rice was settled well off the pace before making a wide bid at the top of the stretch, sticking to her guns in admirable fashion to win by a quite comfortable 2 1/2 lengths at the wire.

This three-year-old daughter of American Pharoah was an expensive purchase as a foal. And while it took a while for the penny to drop, Conch Fried Rice has really found her feet this summer, and she's just the sort the stable does so well with.
