More Maycocks!

One month after nailing a well-deserved first graded stakes victory in the G3 Eclipse Stakes, Maycocks Bay is coming back for more in the G3 Kelso Stakes at Saratoga on Sunday - a race the Stidham barn won last year with Think Big.

But before we take a look at his chances, let's wind the clock back a couple days to Practical Joker's maiden victory at Delaware Park.

Mark Breen's 3-year-old son of Practical Joke didn't get the best of starts, but Julio Hernandez sat quietly and let the horse find his feet before they stretched away to a length victory at the wire. This will have done his confidence the world of good.

And now to Maycocks Bay, who's drawn 2 of 11 in the $225,000 Kelso Stakes, a mile turf contest. Joel Rosario takes the mount on the 15-1 shot on the Morning Line.

Last time out at Woodbine, Maycocks Bay blew them off their feet. And while this time, it's going to be a tougher task, Godolphin's 5-year-old son of Speightstown couldn't be in better form.

And now the rest of the weekend entries, per Equubase:
