It was a fantastic weekend for the stable, thanks to a couple of nice victories at Fair Grounds on Saturday.
Alan Herman, Marty Hurney and Larry Klein's Edgerton got things off to a fine start when getting his second career victory in nail-biting fashion!
Jockey Brian Hernandez delivered this four-year-old son of Street Boss with a perfectly-timed sling-shot towards the wire, holding off a handful of other runners in a photo finish.
Edgerton's been fast on the improve since making his first start last August. It'll be interesting to see where this improvement can take him.
One race later, Conch Fried Rice was absolutely sensational when running away from her talented teammate, Amalfi Drive to get her third career win.
Dixiana Farms' four-year-old daughter of American Pharoah was given a lovely ride by Sofia Vives, taken to the lead at the top of the stretch before pulling away to win by ten lengths.
Conch Fried Race was kept busy last year. But she seems to thrive off of hard work. And it wouldn't be a surprise to see her step up yet again on what she's already shown.
