DARRS Inc. enjoyed a lovely winner this week, thanks to an eye-catching maiden victory at Delaware Park from Contemplation, a former Godolphin home-bred.
This well-bred son of Street Boss is a grandson of the G1 winnner It's Tricky, and put the race to bed with ease under Ben Curtis, kicking clear down the straight to pass the wire 2 and 1/2 lengths too good at the wire.
Now to tomorrow, with the exciting Dear Louise drawn 11 of 16 in the $150,000 Selima Stakes at Laurel Park, a 1 mile 1/16th turf contest.
Godolphin's 2YO daughter of Hard Spun made a buzzy winning debut at Delaware Park last month. And while this is a big step up in class, she's fancied to take the hike with aplomb. With Ben Curtis set for the mount, Dear Louise is a 6-1 shot on the Morning Line.
