Weekend Update!

After the excitement of last weekend, when the stable's Luv Your Neighbor put up her latest barn-storming performance when an honorable runner-up in the G2 Eight Belles Stakes at Churchill Downs, this weekend's a little quieter.
But before we take a look at the entries over the next couple of days, let's first make note of another excellent performance last weekend, and that concerns the fine win by Amalfi Drive, on the Churchill undercard.
This four-year-old daughter of Medaglia d'Oro, bred and owned by Godolphin, was given a positive ride by Brian Hernandez, sent straight to the lead. And there she stayed, ultimately passing the wire nearly three lengths too good for the second home.
The well-bred Amalfi Drive has now won three races throughout her career. Out of a stakes-placed dam, don't be surprised to see her take another step up in class at some point.
