Love Song Strikes Right Tune!

Godolphin's Love Song (pictured above) struck a fine tune indeed Wednesday at Turfway Park, running away with a competitive looking optional allowance claiming to get her second career victory.

Jockey Joseph Ramos had the well-bred daughter of Ghostzapper handily placed throughout, delivering her with a decisive kick at the quarter-pole to win by 4 1/2 lengths at the wire.

Love Song is a daughter of the supremely talented Music Note, who won five Grade Ones throughout a stellar career for Godolphin.

Love Song has been kept busy this year, but she's shown consistency and a hearty attitude in spades. And this additional victory on Love Song's page won't do her resume any harm whatsoever.
