The Stidham stable is headed into an interesting weekend off the back of another fruitful week of action, thanks to Notice Me Too's lovely victory at Delaware Park on Thursday.
Jack Huckabay's homebred daughter of Omaha Beach had shown bundles of latent talent in four prior races, and made sure there was no doubting her bona fides yesterday under Carol Cedeno, sitting close to the pace before pouncing down the home stretch to win by nearly three lengths.
This win will have enhanced Notice Me Too's paddock value greatly. But first, this three-year-old's career on the track still has much left to offer judging by the ease of yesterday's win.
And now to Woodbine tomorrow, where Distorted d'Oro is drawn 6 of 13 in the $125,000 Ontario Damsel Stakes, over 1 and 1/16th miles on the all-weather.
Distorted d'Oro won her first two starts this year before finding life a little tougher in a couple stake races. But she's in good form ahead of tomorrow's assignment, and has the able services of Ryan Munger in the saddle. Together, they're a 20-1 shot on the Morning Line.
And here's the rest of the weekend action.
